This Bolton driveway had a deep sinkhole forming along the edge of the pavement, creating unsafe conditions and causing the asphalt to break apart. Our crew excavated the failed section and removed all damaged material to prepare for a long-lasting repair.
We regraded the area and installed a new solid stone base to stabilize the edge of the driveway before paving. The repair was completed with two well-compacted layers of hot asphalt to restore strength and proper drainage. After paving, we installed fresh loam along the driveway edges to bring the surrounding grade back to a clean finished level.
